The McDonough County Sheriff’s Office FOP Lodge recently held its annual “Buddy Program.” Lodge #280 assisted 77 area children and families with purchasing supplies and clothing for the upcoming school year. Approximately $6,000 was spent that solely is provided in donations from local businesses and citizens. This years event took place at WalMart with Hy Vee and Refreshment Services Pepsi providing hot dogs and soda to those that participated. MCSO Deputies were assisted by the Blandinsville, Colchester and Bushnell Police Departments along with the Colchester Fire Department. Pictured is Deputy Arnold and Deputy Moore.
